WELCOME
Azuki (小豆 Japanese for red beans) is a culinary spot located at the Nassau area. Our place provides a cosy and casual atmosphere with a small number of seats. For takeout you can place your order by phone.
Our menu is inspired by Far Eastern and Western cuisine. Quality, freshness and creativity are highly valued, therefore all our products and ingredients come from our reliable suppliers. Health and sustainability are the main part of our cooking. All our sauces are made according to our own recipes, so we can maintain the standard we're aiming for. We spend a lot of time creating unique tastes and platings for our dishes.

Yoshimasa Ogawahara 1946-2017
A legend, who revived traditional sake in 1967 called "Junmai". His work is masterpiece. If you like sake, you must taste them. Nama of Hiire is a world that opens up and gives a glimpse of the wonderful path sake could take by relying on its own qualities. Understand that pasteurization is not there to preserve, but to transform a dominant Namazake, full of ego, able to endure the time, into a humble servant who will enhance and even create new flavors. Making the heated sake "Ozanzake" gets all its mystery, all its poetry, revealing all its complexity through our mouth through our senses to us. Our saké is from the Ogawahara brewery, It's an honor to bring a small selection of his saké into our humble place.
ABOUT US
My culinary journey started in Tokyo with an intensive sushi chef course. In the past decade I’ve expanded my culinary knowledge and skills by working at several Eastern and Western restaurants with some renowned chefs in Amsterdam. During that time, I learned that healthy food can also be delicious. After all these years, I decided to start our own business in The Hague. I believe we can provide our guests an enjoyable, delicious visit at Azuki.
